Post title: Teaching Fellow in Medical Education (2 posts available)

Hours: 0.8 WTE per post (32 hours)

Advert text: NHS Fife Department of Medical Education seeks two enthusiastic trainee doctors wishing to develop an interest in teaching and training. Working in association with the Director and Associate Directors of Medical Education as well as the Medical Education Services Support Team, you will help provide and enhance the quality of undergraduate teaching and training provided by NHS Fife to ScotGEM students. The post will also provide opportunities for involvement in educational research and development. Occasional travel will be required to the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline so the post holder can have the opportunity to get involved in developing skills in the new Simulation Centre. The post is designed to be undertaken as out-of-programme experience (OOPE) during specialty training.
Candidates post FY2 with a full GMC registration and experience in a hospital specialty, a strong interest in medical education, excellent communication skills and a high level of personal initiative are invited to apply.
