A vacancy has arisen for a Bank Driver based at Raigmore Hospital.
Candidates will be experienced transport drivers with knowledge of statutory transport regulations, Health & Safety, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health, Road Risk and Moving and Handling Regulations.
Candidates will be well organised and highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will enjoy interacting with both transport staff and customers and have a helpful and cheerful personality and have knowledge of the local and Highland geographical area.
Candidates must hold both a current Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence and a valid Driving Licence, which includes categories B and C1. You must be able to drive vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonne Large Goods Vehicles.
Duties will involve manual handling delivering laundry, mail, medical equipment, pharmacy, stores and specimens to hospitals, GPs, Medical Centres and Care Homes throughout the NHS Highland area and beyond as required.
