NHS Lothian are increasing their clinical capacity across Primary Care in support of the Scottish Government’s Achieving Excellence strategy and in fulfillment of the plans for a General Practice Clinical Pharmacy Service.

We are looking for dynamic, highly motivated, and enthusiastic pharmacy technician(s) to join our team, working in a brand new remote pharmacotherapy hub providing key service(s) to GP practices within West Lothian. The successful applicant(s) will be responsible for supporting the delivery of pharmacotherapy services within GP practice.

This is an ideal post for an experienced Technician to work in an innovative environment with a well-established team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop skills in all the roles undertaken by the team and promote quality and cost-effective prescribing across Primary Care.

With a National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent Pharmacy Technician qualification and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council, applicants should have a significant post qualification experience preferably in a Primary Care setting.
