We require an enthusiastic, highly motivated and skilled band 7 physiotherapist to join our Rheumatology multi-disciplinary team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. We are a Team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who provide a service to patients with inflammatory joint disease across Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Our service offers 1:1 therapy appointments as well as one stop clinics offering joint injection and ultrasound imaging.

You will be based within Inverclyde Royal Hospital within the Clyde Sector however as Rheumatology AHP is a Greater Glasgow and Clyde wide service you may be asked to travel to other sites for training or to provide clinical cover.  You will assess, plan and manage the care of patients referred to the rheumatology service. You will provide leadership and support the Team lead with service developments.

Experience of working within rheumatology is essential.

The successful candidate will be HCPC registered, be educated to degree level or with equivalent experiential professional and clinical knowledge and a Diploma in injection therapy. A qualification in ultrasound scanning would be desirable although training would be supported.

Although this is a full time position we are flexible and willing to consider part time applications.
