NHS Tayside is looking to recruit 2 Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to deliver service development for young people in Tayside. These posts will be key to delivering developments recently announced in the Mental Health Recovery and Renewal programme. The Scottish Government has committed funding to transform the services we deliver to our young people and families and this is a great opportunity to join teams who are committed to redesign and innovation for our communities. This covers local services including Intensive home treatment and Liaison services as well as regional services hosted in NHS Tayside. The initiative also covers regional development of an IPCU for the North of Scotland Regional services and we are looking for enthusiastic and committed colleagues to join us.
Colleagues have special interests in Eating disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders and enhanced outreach. We would welcome discussion from applicants with interests that compliment these interests and opportunities in liaison, secure care and general CAMHS.

These posts are key to service planning and development and offer a great opportunity to develop your career at a time of expansion and increased funding. NHS Tayside delivers local and regional services for the North of Scotland Health Boards and this post will be key to delivering the initiatives in the recovery and renewal programme and the new service specifications.
