This is a brand new development and a very exciting opportunity for 4 WTE (or equivalent) generic support workers to work alongside Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in Primary Care across Moray in GP practices. These posts will be locality based. Please note that part-time and flexible working will be considered.

The post holder will be able to demonstrate relevant experience and knowledge at support worker level in a hospital/community or care setting relevant to this post and be willing to undertake further training. You will be clinically supervised by qualified Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in Primary Care carrying out treatments and interventions as prescribed by the Occupational Therapist and/or Physiotherapist.  The work will be varied and focus on optimising patients’ independence, educating on self-management strategies and promotion of their health and wellbeing.

The Moray Occupational Therapy Team is a well-established team with robust supervision, mentoring, quality review and audit frameworks and we strive to provide an excellent service to our patients. We also have close working relationships with our Allied health professionals and multidisciplinary colleagues in Moray and across NHS Grampian and national links.

Moray is an extraordinarily beautiful place to live and work.
