In response to Covid-19 and opportunity has arisen for Registered Clinician to support Glasgow City HSCP to continue this response in the coming months for the Covid-19 response services. You will be motivated to provide a flexible clinical response and take responsibility for designated tasks including assessment, monitoring and testing of patient through assessment Centre and testing service and for the supervision of and delegation of work to junior staff. The Services are currently made up The Community Assessment Centre (CAC) and testing services in Barr Street. The CAC currently operates 7 days a week, Mon - Fri 8am to 10pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 8pm and requires to remain open and available for the foreseeable future with potential to be open 24/7. During the evening and weekends Barr Street operates on behalf of all 6 partnerships and takes patients from across the whole of the NHSGG&C area. The Care Home Testing Team (CHTT) is managed from the Barr Street and currently operational from Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm with need for flexibility in hours to meet service need. The testing service is for Care Home residents and to meet the demands of the outbreak testing for Care Home staff testing a reduced service until 9pm in the evening when required. As part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s pre-employment checks for all appointed candidates, evidence of current NMC or HCPC registration will be required prior to start date. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
