We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Clinical Nurse Manager to join the team within NHS Dumfries and Galloway Women, Children and Sexual Health Services Directorate.
This critical Clinical Nurse Manager role requires leadership skills to develop and co-ordinate the nursing workforce to meet the changing operational demands whilst ensuring the delivery of excellent care and a positive patient experience. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Manager to provide support to the Health Visiting and School Nursing teams, the Infant Feeding Coordinator and will be the lead for Family Nurse Partnership. He/she will have excellent leadership, management and communication skills and will be responsible for the operational management and development of the identified teams in line with the vision and values of the Women, Children’s and Sexual Health Services Directorate. Clear evidence of people/organisational development and demonstrable skills in managing change are essential, as well as a strong commitment and track record in leading quality and clinical governance activities.
The Clinical Nurse Manager will work closely with the Nursing & AHP Lead and the Directorate General Manager to support the senior management team in decision making, the delivery of safe, fit for purpose services ensuring that the needs of women, children, young people and their families are paramount.
