We are currently transforming our clinical pharmacy service across NHS Fife, as an integrated pharmacy service across hospital, primary care and specialist teams, under a new Head of Pharmacy for Clinical Services. The aim is to join up care for our patients across transitions of care and ensure the best outcomes for patients with their medicines.
Opportunities have arisen within the acute hospital on admissions wards at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, hospital @home & community hospitals and learning disabilities based at Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline for experienced pharmacy technicians registered with the GPhC with proven post qualification experience to join our pharmacy team. You will also support the development of the clinical technical team and the expanding clinical pharmacy technician role and have sessions to enable you to maintain (or work towards)your checking qualification within Queen Margaret, Dunfermline and Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy
You must be enthusiastic, self motivated and be able to work independently or as part of the pharmacy team and wider multidisciplinary team. Our successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who has the ability to build good relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals. You should have experience of working in a clinical environment and managing staff.
