An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward 44, planned Care for a Health Care Support Worker.
Ward 44 is a unique and newly formed 30 bedded combined unit consisting of Gastroenterology and Colorectal surgical specialties.
You will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care.
As this unit is the only one of its kind in Scotland you will be part of a forward thinking unit and committed to team working that benefits the patient as well as improving their journey.
You must have effective communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate your commitment to patient safety and confidentiality. An active interest in working within an acute hospital setting and the ability to rise to the challenge of working within a fast paced setting are essential. We are looking for good team players with excellent written and oral communicators. You will be expected to participate in any training required.
We offer a full range of gastroenterology and colorectal services this includes bowel surgery, gastrointestinal disorders, liver diseases, and specialist management for patients with inflammatory bowel disease. All methods of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy are provided, including endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP essential for the network cancer services for GI and colorectal malignancy. You should be enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated with a real interest in this combined speciality ward.
