An opportunity exists for a motivated, innovative individuals to join the NHS Ayrshire and Arran Cardiac liaison nursing service. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to expand their skills and expertise within the field. This service provides a wide range of services for individuals with coronary heart disease. 

As a key member of the team you will contribute to specialist nursing care, education, counselling, support, and exercise to patients with a wide range of cardiac problems and their families.

You will facilitate high quality patient care within the caseload, identifying and monitoring high-risk patients to detect clinical deterioration.

You will work closely with colleagues across NHS Ayrshire and Arran and all local authorities to ensure seamless care for the patient is provided.

You should be a registered nurse. A first degree or equivalent qualification and experience in cardiology is essential, as is evidence of ongoing professional development.

Travel around Ayrshire may be required.
