We require one permanent and one fixed term (12 months) Research & Evaluation Assistant in Specialist Children’s Services. These posts will support and enhance the care of clients within Specialist Children’s Services, across all sectors of care by providing research and evaluation support. The post holders will assist in the conduct and development of audit, evaluation and/or research projects, collection and analysis of statistics, preparation of research protocols and ethical submissions, undertaking project work, and reporting on findings. This could include needs analysis of services, quantitative and qualitative outcome studies, literature reviews, and assisting in the dissemination of research and evaluation including writing up papers for publication and presentation to a range of stakeholders. The post holders will also provide support to teams within Specialist Children’s Services to increase their capacity for monitoring, evaluation and research.

The fixed term post will have a particular focus on supporting the evaluation of the new Infant Mental Health Service within NHSGGC.

Strong research skills and experience are required, specifically in the collation of research, evaluation or audit data, data analysis and research communication skills. Experience of working with children and young people would be desirable.

The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9am-5pm 37.5 hours per week
