CONSULTANT IN INTENSIVE CARE MEDICINE
£87,534 to £116,313 per annum pro rata
Applications are invited for a Consultant Intensive Care Medicine at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, This is a substantive post and is available on a ten programmed activity basis (8 DCC: 2 SPA). The post is required to cover the Critical Care unit (ICU and SHDU), but anaesthesia sessions will be available in addition to Critical Care Duties. Applications from candidates from a parent specialty other than Anaesthesia are also encouraged, and additional sessions in that specialty can be accommodated

The Critical Care Unit and Anaesthetic Department has 10 Intensivists, 21 Consultant Anaesthetists, 2 Associate Specialists, 6 Speciality Doctors, 13 Specialty Trainees and 6 Critical Care Clinical Fellows. The on-call is dedicated to Intensive Care medicine and is currently 1:10 with prospective cover.
Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of the anticipated award of a CCT at the time of interview.
