This is a part-time position for 18.75 hours offered on a fixed contract until end of March 2023.

Due to funding made available from the Scottish Government to support the expansion of the Cancer Medicines Outcomes programme (CMOP), an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Administrator to join the existing CMOP team. CMOP is a collaborative research project being undertaken in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde to explore the capability of existing NHS data systems to determine the clinical effectiveness of cancer medicines in the real life setting. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will be supporting the team by providing wide ranging administrative support for this multi-disciplinary National programme of work. As the first point of contact for the CMOP team, this is an important role which requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The post holder will be required to support organisation of national meetings, programme reports and publications relating to the programme of work.

This post requires good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. A Higher National Certificate or relevant experience is essential. The post requires a high degree of organisational ability and secretarial skills, together with excellent written and oral communication skills. They should also demonstrate the ability to handle and prioritise a diverse workload, including matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.

Key roles will include:

- Organisation of meetings including virtual meetings via MS Teams

- Minute taking for meetings

- Document control and organisation of files relating to CMOP work

- Supporting the development of CMOP materials including newsletters, project reports etc
