FIXED TERM / SECONDMENT FOR 12 MONTHS TO COVER SUBSTANTIVE POSTHOLDERS SECONDMENT
*Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.
The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Health Promotion Service as a Health Promotion Officer. The Health Promotion Service is going through a period of rapid change and review to integrate more fully into the 2 Health & Social Care Partnerships from April 1 2022. This generic role is responsible for supporting the delivery of a broad range of work programmes associated with the Service. This will include integrating physical activity work and key messages throughout NHSFV, the 2 Health & Social Care Partnerships and 6 localities to benefit patients, their families / carers and staff. Encouraging and supporting more people to be more active, more often is a key priority for NHSFV due to the evidence based benefits this brings to people such as benefitting their health and quality of life and being an equal partner in their preparation for their care & treatment, resulting in a quicker recovery with less complications.
