Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge, with experience of planning, you will deliver and evaluatie stakeholder engagement.
You will be pivotal in ensuring NHS Ayrshire and Arran achieves and exceeds its statutory duties and responsibilities for patient and public engagement and involvement. You must be passionate about involving and empowering communities to get involved.
You will work in partnership with stakeholders, both locally and regionally, to co-ordinate engagement activity across the health and social care system. This post requires demonstrable experience of engagement methodologies, programme management, with strong communication and organisational skills.
You will be responsible for the delivery of the Engagement function and will play a key role in delivering our engagement and communications strategy, working alongside the Engagement team. In addition, you will support the monitoring, reporting and evaluation of engagement strategies - using this insight to inform improvements.
You will identify innovative and creative ways of engaging with our staff and stakeholders and support the team to advise and deliver engagement support to key strategic programmes.
This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity for 2 years.
The post holder will be expected to regularly travel across Ayrshire and Arran with a requirement to work in the evening or weekend on occasion.
A car driver is essential.
