The Professional Development and Improvement Team are able to advertise a permanent post into the role of Practice Education Facilitator (PEF). We are seeking applications from experienced nurses/midwives, who have an interest in education and possess a post-registration degree in a relevant subject.
You must be currently active as a Practice Assessor within your clinical area and have a proven track record of supporting, supervising and assessing nursing and midwifery students and healthcare learners, and have understanding of the nursing and midwifery education agenda. Experience within an education post would be advantageous and experience of delivering training programmes and/or undertaking presentations would be desirable.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and effectively manage your own workload is essential. You must have excellent organisational skills and possess highly effective interpersonal skills, use own initiative and influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
This post is full time (37.5hours) and a car driver is essential.
