Training Programme Director – GP Rural Track ,North
North of Scotland
Base Location: Centre for Health Science
Hours: 8 hours per week
Duration: 6 Months*
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
The main role is to promote and co-ordinate quality specialist training for general practice for the Scottish Rural Track GP Training Programme, Scotland Deanery with an emphasis on programme management and providing support for GP Trainees and Educational Supervisors (ESs). This will involve support for ESs via the local trainers’ groups, skills development for established ESs, and supporting trainees requiring performance support.
