The opportunity has arisen for graduates or existing B5 Physiotherapists, to join an extensive rotational scheme for physiotherapists throughout NHS Ayrshire & Arran. The rotation provides opportunities to gain experience in a broad range of acute hospitals, intermediate care, out-patients, community hospital, Obstetrics and Pelvic health, Mental Health and domiciliary settings across the south-west of Scotland. The successful post-holder will be required to rotate to a number of locations across Ayrshire in rotations of 6 months duration.
These posts will hold an out of hours and weekend commitment. Prior to commencing on the out of hours service you will receive tailored training and support to meet your needs.
This service is committed to the development of staff; applicants will be supported to complete the flying start programme as part of their CPD activity in their first year - post graduation and will be involved with clinical supervision
You must have current HCPC registration, or be a student in the process of obtaining.
NHS Ayrshire and Arran physiotherapy team covers the south west of Scotland on the Firth of the Clyde, serving a region from Ballantrae in the South to Wemyss Bay in the North. Ayrshire boasts 80 miles of coastline, picturesque beaches, rolling green hills and islands, and provides access to a large range of outdoor pursuits including watersports, cycling and hill walking. There are excellent transport links with Glasgow.
Car availability for work purposes and a valid UK driving license are required for this post. (Or be in the process of obtaining.)
Hours: 37.50 per week
