Post Dietetic Support Worker
Grade Band 3
Hours 18.5 hrs/week (0.5 WTE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Dietetic Support Worker based within the NHS Lothian Community Dietetic team. The dietitians within these teams will delegate work and provide training and supervision to the post holder.
The post holder will be involved in the review of patients within their own homes and run virtual clinics, with a particular focus on individuals with malnutrition. In addition to seeing patients, the post holder will be required to make appointments, answer phones and update electronic patient records e.g. TRAK and other administraton tasks.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
