 An opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Nursing Assistant within Station 4, University Hospital Ayr.

Previous experience in a caring environment is essential as is having achieved SVQ level 3 or working towards this qualification.  You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to communicate well with members of the multidisciplinary team. 

You will be flexible to shift patterns and have a genuine interest in delivering a high standard of person centred care.  

You will be required to demonstrate a positive attitude, be a motivated individual who is willing to undertake training to develop new skills. You will be required to use your own initiative whilst working as a member of the multidisciplinary team.

Under guidance and supervision and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team you will be involved in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care working within the professional standards held in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

The post will be 23 hours per week which will be worked on a rotational basis covering day and night shifts, weekend working and twilight shifts.
