An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Bellsdyke Hospital Site, Larbert for an enthusiastic registered mental health nurse who is keen to enhance/develop their management and clinical skills in a Deputy Charge Nurse position.
This is a rotational post and the successful candidate will initially be based within the redevelopment of a low secure female unit within Hope House. The post holder will contribute to providing nursing care and treatment for challenging individuals who have a mental disorder and who may require a period of intensive rehabilitative care. The post holder will, as part of a multidisciplinary team, provide care through a progressive patient focused approach, within a safe environment and underpinned by risk assessment and management that will maximise the individual’s rehabilitation potential.
As a pivotal member of the team you should possess good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), have a good understanding of risk assessment / management, current legislation and be able to lead and motivate others within the team.
