Nursing Assistant – Nurse Pool
AfC Band 3 (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,390.20 per annum (pro rata) and a High Secure Clinical Responsibility Allowance of £3,336.48 per annum (pro rata)
22.5 Hours per week
Contract Duration – Fixed Term for 12 months
Successful candidates will be required to attend training from 21 March 2022.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the nursing team at the State Hospital. You will support registered nursing staff to deliver high quality, person centered care for patients with mental health problems.
These posts have been created to deliver flexibility with rostering to support safe staffing levels 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. You will be required to work a flexible shift pattern and will be deployed across all wards in the hospital.
It is essential that you have an SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Effective written and verbal communication skills are an essential part of this role as is the ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.
You will have a working knowledge of basic information technology.
