The Acute Services at VHK has been transforming and to maximise the benefits of our inpatient accommodation we’ve made some changes to our hospital layout to improve the quality and safety of patient care. 
As a result of change a new nursing model has been implemented within ward 9 at the Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy. Ward 9 is now known as Rapid Assessment and Discharge Unit with a capacity of 11 beds. The unit’s main focus is to support our frail elderly patients that only require a short stay in hospital and additional support from our services.  
The RAD unit has a number of Fixed Term opportunities that has arisen for dynamic and inspirational nursing auxiliaries to care at a high standard for patients at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. 
We can offer full time and part time hours, and are looking for staff to work within our new unit.
