Applications are welcome for the above Permanent, full time (40 hours per week) post based in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
This is an opportunity to join an enthusiastic and dynamic department with a wide range of specialties on offer. The posts are available immediately and have arisen due to retirement.
You will have completed, or be close to completing your training in Anaesthesia. The posts are general in nature, but efforts will be made to include an area of interest to the successful applicant. Sub-specialty interests in Neuro, Obstetric, Trauma, Vascular anaesthesia or Acute Pain medicine will be particularly welcome. The posts are full time with 8 direct clinical care programmed activities and 2 supporting professional activities. Up to two extra programmed activities may be available depending on the needs of the service.
The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh has a large anaesthetic department that has close links with the University of Edinburgh Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. As a result, a range of opportunities exist for teaching, research and quality improvement work.
Edinburgh is a fantastic, vibrant city with a wide range of cultural and leisure pursuits available. Out with the centre, there is easy access to the beautiful surrounding countryside and coastline.
