Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the NHS Lothian Manual Handling Service, as part of the administration team. The post holder will be based at the Western General Hospital or Royal Edinburgh Hospital, but will carry out administrative tasks for the whole service remotely, with a requirement to travel to other sites intermittently to support administrative tasks that can only be completed in person – travel expenses will be supported.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our innovative service, which is currently advancing in the use of technology to enhance performance and service delivery. The post holder must have an HNC Administration (SCQF Level 7) or equivalent with experience in the use of Microsoft Office Packages, and HR Databases and have a willingness to develop additional IT skills as required (e.g. intranet/webpage development and e-learning packages). Experience in the use of the eESS & PECOS systems is desirable but full training may be given.
As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to complete a short exercise in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word packages.
