An opportunity has arisen for a Tobacco Cessation / Prevention Officer within the Quit Your Way smoking cessation team. You will be expected to co-ordinate and deliver targeted smoking prevention and cessation within a range of settings across Ayrshire linked to health promoting frameworks. This will include the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project work as well as delivering training to a wide range of partners/public. You will also be responsible for setting up referral pathways in to the service and planning local campaigns and marketing of the Quit Your Way service. You should be educated to degree level or have sufficient equivalent experience and demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience of the tobacco agenda/health improvement. You should be a car driver.

There are three posts being recruited to: one will be based at Lister Street, University Hospital Crosshouse; two at Afton House, Ailsa Hospital, and Ayr (base preference can be discussed at interview)
