LOCUM APPOINTMENT FOR SERVICE IN INTENSIVE CARE MEDICINE


Applications are invited for the above fixed term post, available from the 7st August 2019 until the 4th February 2020. The successful applicant will work a band 1A compliant full shift rota (including out-of-hours and weekend working).This post would suit a potential/future trainee in the ACCS stream, looking to expand their clinical experience, or a trainee post core training looking to gain further experience in critical care medicine in advance of specialty applications. There is scope for the successful candidate to compete FICE (Focused Intensive Care Echocardiography) and CUSIC (Core Ultrasound in Intensive Care) training during their post, with protected time for this provided within the rota, and funded attendance at local FICE and CUSIC courses will be provided.


The post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training
