This is a part-time position offered on a fixed contract for 6 months.
This service provides highly skilled Pulmonary Function and Sleep Services within Glasgow Royal Infirmary & Stobhill Hospitals.
We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible person with experience in the field of Respiratory Physiology to join our team for a fixed period of time on a part time basis. Post holder will have responsibility for specialist Respiratory & Sleep assessments and treatment, including Oxygen assessments, walk tests, bronchial challenge testing, covering routine PFTs, initiating and monitoring CPAP treatment. Supervision and training of more junior roles would be expected.
A BSc in Physiology or equivalent with relevant experience and the ARTP practitioner level exam are required.
Minimum of 2 years post training, voluntary registered. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG scheme.
