An opportunity has arisen within North Ayrshire for Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Schools).
Applications will be considered from anyone willing to undertake the SCPHN (Schools) course.
You will work in partnership with children/young people and families, and multiagency partners to identify health needs and then support and deliver interventions to a vulnerable client group as defined by School Nurse Pathways.
You will be expected to be accountable for caseload management, school nurse activity and support the school nursing service as delegated by the school nurse team lead.
You must be a first level registered nurse, educated to degree level or equivalent with evidence of continuing professional development Excellent communication and IT skills is essential.
A working knowledge of Child Protection and Looked After Child systems is desirable.
Post 1: 30 hours per week term time.
Post 2: 37.5 hours per week
Car driver is also essential for the role
