This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post. 

We are looking for a dynamic Team Lead for our teams based within Midlothian Community Hospital and Highbank Intermediate Care facility. You will work to support and develop our team to be able to deliver the highest quality of rehabilitation and care to the people of Midlothian, supporting the Home First agenda. You will drive forward rehabilitation to maximize independence and support earlier appropriate discharge. You will carry your own clinical case load and have day to day responsibility for the management of the physiotherapy and occupational therapy staff within our community inpatient settings.

You must be a Registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC Registration. You will have significant post graduate expertise that demonstrates a breadth of knowledge and leadership. You will be an autonomous expert clinician working in the field of community rehabilitation, with proven expertise in rehabilitation principles, maximizing independence and driving earlier appropriate discharge.
