An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker to join a forward thinking and dynamic team as part of the development of the Perth and Kinross Community Nursing Team. We work closely with both Health and Social Care community and inpatient teams.

The post will be based in Coupar Angus Medical Centre although there will be some require to cover across the Strathmore area dependent on the needs of the service.

You should have a genuine interest in community working and the diversity it brings.


We are looking for an individual who ideally has previous experience of working as a support worker.  The ability to work well within a team is essential as well as the capability to work without direct supervision.  You will need to have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills and be able to motivate and encourage compliance of service users.


Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers
