The Specialist Drug and Alcohol Service is excited to be able to offer an opportunity to develop pharmacy technician roles with a clinical focus within addictions, as part of our expending clinical pharmacy team and to help drive the roll out of long acting buprenorphine (Buvidal) across the region.
You should be a GPhC registered pharmacy technician who is enthusiastic, able to seek and create opportunities to demonstrate the value of clinical pharmacy, motivated, and passionate about patient-centred care. You must be a team player and have excellent communication skills.  
Experience in addiction services would be helpful.
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered professional to benefit from the opportunity to learn and develop new skills and for the wider multidisciplinary team to benefit from a new facet to our clinical pharmacy service. 
This is a 22.5 hour per week (part time) post for a fixed term of 23 months.
