Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow (ST3 level) in Pain Medicine at NHS Grampian for a period of 12 months.
The Clinical Fellow position would suit any training / non training grade doctor with previous experience in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine, providing the opportunity to further gain Pain Medicine experience in a supervised environment. This post is not recognised for Advanced training by the Royal college of Anaesthetists. However training will follow on the lines of advance modules.
We have an established Pain service offering Neuromodulation, Pain Management Programme, MSK service and Cancer pain.

Aberdeen has a large Anaesthetic department which covers a comprehensive range of clinical services and as a teaching hospital department there is strong involvement in a wide range of educational activities. There are also many opportunities to develop research interests in collaboration with the local universities. Consequently, there is excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic appointee to develop interests in a wide choice of areas.
