An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Enablement Worker to join the Nairn & Ardersier Enablement Team.  This 31.5 hrs per week post, will enable the right candidate the opportunity to be part integrated adult social care service with NHS Highland.  The Nairn & Arderseir Enablement team, provide an important and valued enablement service to the residents of the Nairn & Arderseir area. To assist multi-disciplinary staff, Enablement Officers and Senior Enablement Workers within the District Integrated Health and Social Care team with implementing enablement support plans to individuals and their families/carers. The focus will be on maximising independence and supporting the individual to remain in their own home, facilitating prompt discharge from hospital and supporting anticipatory care planning to prevent readmission or admission to a hospital or care home.

Requirement to be registered with the Scottish Social Service Council within 6 months of appointment.
