As a General Practice Pharmacy Worker, you will predominantly be working within GP Practice(s) in North Ayrshire but will also be required to visit Care Homes throughout the local Health & Social Care Partnership. The role will be to assist the General Practice Clinical Pharmacists and General Practice Pharmacy Technicians on a day to day basis to allow the Primary Care Pharmacy Team to deliver its Pharmacotherapy Services; ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.

As a General Practice Pharmacy Worker, you will have an A or B pass at National 5 or equivalent in English, Maths, Chemistry and Biology.

You will possess SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or achieve this qualification within two years from commencement to SCQF level 6

You will have good communication skills (oral and written). 

You will have good customer care skills

You will have good arithmetic skills

In accordance with AFC terms and conditions you may be required to work over 7 days and or an extended working day. Driving license is essential for the post. 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
