Since 1997 NHS Tayside has been at the forefront of the development of General Practice Clinical Pharmacy. This well established service has evolved to deliver person centred, high quality healthcare to the patient population it serves.

We actively encourage multidisciplinary and multi professional working and recognise the essential contribution that each member of the pharmacy team provides.
We are seeking to recruit a pharmacist for a new role within the team. You will provide a clinical pharmacy service to GP practices for two days per week and work with HSCP and NHS Tayside colleagues to provide a prescribing analysis and advisory role for three days per week. In addition to these central roles you will become a member of the newly established multidisciplinary resilience team that will provide essential support to GP practices when required.
We are a friendly and sociable, forward thinking team with excellent peer support networks across Tayside and Scotland, including prescribing support and medicines information networks and excellent links with pharmacists working within specialist clinical pharmacy areas. Team members are encouraged to develop their clinical skills.
Our roles are community based and involve working in a range of environments such as GP practices, community hospitals, care homes, patients own homes and HSCP premises. The emphasis is on high quality, patient facing, pharmaceutical care.

Hours of work are:
37.5 hours over 7 days. Part time applicants will be considered.
