As a Clerical Officer based at the The Johnnie Walker Bond, Kilmarnock, you will work within the Ayrshire Community Blood Service providing a clerical service processing referrals and appointing patients using a computerised patient administration system.

You will have accurate keyboarding skills and have experience of using Microsoft Office and associated packages (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook etc).  Previous experience of working within a general office environment is essential.  Experience of working within an NHS environment would be advantageous.  You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written; have the ability to work proactively on your own initiative with a flexible and positive attitude in conjunction with other team members including internal/external agencies.  You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service demands. You will have proficient numerical skills and possess an SVQ Level II qualification in Administration or have proven equivalent experience

Hours:  37.5 per week.

This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity for 9 months.
