Enablement Worker - Inverness East Rural Dalcross/Croy/ Tornagrain/ Tomatin

Band 3 - £21,709 - £23,603 per annum pro-rata

Permanent - 31.5 hours per week x 2 (08:00-15:00 and 16:00-21:00) 4 on/ 4 off  rolling rota 


Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides support and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty.

 

The post is responsible for supporting the provision of a Care at Home Service for people requiring short term support as a result of disability or illness. To work together with the person to find ways of enabling their independence in everyday life. For further information please refer to job specification.

 

 In order to be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely,  it is desirable for candidates to have some experience in a care setting, if not have a genuine interest in care of the elderly and willingness to learn  and be part of a team. Applicant must have good communication skills – both verbally and in writing. SVQ Level 3 in Care, or a willingness and ability to work towards this qualification within an agreed time scale.  A vehicle will be provided for all travel.
