Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) within West Dunbartonshire Council are looking for an Administrative Assistant who can play a vital role in providing effective administration support to a our Hospital Discharge Team. We would expect successful candidate to have experience in dealing with the public and partners via the telephone and electronically.   We would expect at least SVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent to be considered for this role within in our busy, multi-disciplined team.  Key Duties include:

First point of contact for processing referrals via telephone and email.
To use various ICT systems and databases and some bespoke systems such as CareFirst and Comino to deliver support to and on behalf of our client services.  This includes input into the development with an aim of improving the same.
To liaise with other wards and departments, internal and external agencies via various means of communication (email / telephone / face to face etc.)
Interact with customers, internal and external, in a manner that exceeds expectation and delivers real customer service to achieve and protect the HSCP’s brand reputation.
To provide clerical / financial and compliance based support to various teams within the HSCP in line with timescales where appropriate.
