This is a full-time permanent post. The work pattern is Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm.
The post holder will be expected to provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective service, responding to the needs of families in a variety of settings in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies. Using a community development approach, work in partnership with colleagues, individuals, the local community, health improvement staff and other agencies to identify and address health needs. The post holder will support the Health Visitor/ Public Health Nurse in delivering care to families within the caseload/community to enable the health visiting/public health nursing team to provide a quality service.

Essential requirements
• SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent experience
• Ability to work with people and as part of a team.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience of working with children.
• Ability to work with vulnerable children, young people and families.
• Basic computing skills.
