Accountable to the Services Director for the strategic leadership & operational delivery of Specialist Services within the Royal Edinburgh & Associated Services (REAS) Business Unit of NHS Lothian. The post holder will ensure the safe delivery of patient care and services in accordance with NHS Lothian agreed corporate objectives. This includes focusing on delivery of the CAMHs standard. This role requires key leadership skills, Mental Health experience is not essential
Support the achievement of NHS Lothian targets and objectives by developing key relationships to enable collaborative working with internal and external partners, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care.
Contribute to the Senior Management Team within REAS providing leadership and visibility and supporting the planned and unplanned workflows associated with Mental Health care across the age range
Acts as a deputy to the Services Director when required leading discussions and decision making at director level.
