Do you have the interest and drive to join the team in Greater Glasgow and Clyde Specialist Children’s Services to help us deliver a specialist neurodevelopmental service to children young people and their families?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the development of our services for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions. Occupational Therapy will be an integrated part of the multi-disciplinary team as well as delivering unique uni-professional added value.
We are recruiting to a number of permanent posts across the city. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team engaging in neurodevelopmental assessment, post diagnostic intervention and providing support and consultancy across the wider children’s services system. The post holder will work across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Specialist Community Paediatrics Teams.
You are required to be HCPC registered, have relevant experience in Occupational Therapy and experience in working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions. We offer both uni-professional and multi-disciplinary induction and CPD opportunities. We are looking for people who are organised, motivated and is looking to be part of a developing service. You must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills when working with children, young people and their families.
Training and support for your professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision, both uni-professional as well as part of multi-disciplinary team to support reflection, and evidence-based practice.
