This is an exciting new post for a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (0.8wte) in the Inverclyde Adult Mental Health Services, Psychology Service.

The postholder will provide cognitive behavioural therapy to individuals with a range of presenting mental health conditions. The postholder will be enthusiastic about multi-disciplinary working and will work as an integral member of the team, offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to other colleagues, and to other non-professional carers.

The postholder will have access to clinical supervision with a Clinical Psychologist. Applicants must have a Post-graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which is recognised and accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapy and relevant professional training to degree level or equivalent in a core profession which includes basic psychotherapy training, i.e. Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Work, Occupational Therapy. Significant experience of working within a multi-disciplinary setting within Adult Mental Health is desirable.

This post is worked over the hours of Monday-Friday 9-5 pm.
