We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic individual to lead our Podiatry community team.  The post holder will be responsible for the day management, supervision and leadership of community staff.  There will be a particular focus on driving change to service delivery with a focus on the delivery of effective, safe , person centred care. The post holder will be supported to deliver change through the use of quality improvement methodology. Collaborative working with staff to develop and deliver service changes is essential and strong communication and interpersonal skills are therefore important for this role as well as organisational and prioritisation skills . A desire to progress innovative approaches to service delivery and to support staff education and supervision is essential as well as a commitment to multidisciplinary working across AHPs.


The potholder will be expected to support the development of staff across the 4 pillars of practice and to demonstrate experience of working across these pillars. Experience of working in a specialist podiatry area is essential, and an interest in the development of  MSK pathways within the podiatry service is advantageous.

The post holder will have a base in one of the borders community localities and will be expected to travel around the geography of the borders.
