This is a full-time permanent post.
The post holder is required to work as part of a team to deliver a quality service as directed by policies and procedures which are monitored by Supervisory staff. Porters will work in various areas across the hospital providing a wide range of support services, covering patient movement, waste and linen handling, blood and blood products, specimen deliveries.
To ensure that hospital, ward entrances, exits are kept clean at all times.
The post holder will be trained to deal with all regular and ad-hoc portering duties and respond to emergency situations.
