The Primary Care Emergency Centre is based in Kirkwall at our brand new Healthcare Facility ‘The Balfour’, co-located with the Emergency Department and the Scottish Ambulance Service base. Accommodation, fully equipped 4x4 vehicles and personal protective clothing are provided.
We are looking specifically for a highly motivated General Practitioner with an interest in Remote and Rural medicine. The ability to teamwork, sometimes at a distance, and to contribute to the local development of primary care services is important.
