Excellent opportunities have arisen within Unit 5 Falkirk Community Hospital, for enthusiastic, flexible and self motivated RGN/RMNs, who are committed to the provision and promotion of high quality, safe, consistent patient-centred care. We require individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to engage effectively as part of a mutli-disciplinary team. A genuine interest in nursing Older People is essential.

Unit 5 provides ongoing assessment, treatment, nursing care and rehabilitation/discharge planning for older people presenting with cognitive impairment and delirium.

An interest in becoming involved in developing, initiating, evaluating and sustaining change would be advantageous.  

The successful applicants will:-

  • have good communication skills
  • have good organisational skills
  • be responsible for the assessment of patients and the planning, implementation and evaluation of care
  • be committed to their own ongoing personal development
