An opportunity has arisen within the East Ayrshire Community Addiction Team for a Band 7 RADAR (Rapid Access to Drug and Alcohol Recovery) service Co-Ordinator. This is a multi agency service to provide same day /next day assessment and treatment to individuals accessing Drug and Alcohol Services within East Ayrshire.
The RADAR service is currently the only service in Scotland to provide same day/next day access to treatment Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Previous experience within Drug and Alcohol Services at band 6 for at least 2 years is essential, as is a proven track record of leading on service development.
Experience of project management is highly desirable. A robust knowledge of local and national strategies and drivers is essential to monitor, coordinate and facilitate progress towards the achievement of organisational and service goals, objectives, strategies, projects, action plans and outcomes in relation to mental health support progression.
Excellent communication skills are required to work collaboratively with the multi-agency partners, and to provide updates NHS and H&SCP Senior Management. This would include adeptness in conflict resolution, whilst maintaining smooth service provision.
