This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Due to team expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medicines Homecare team in NHS Lothian. This service provides medicines to approximately 5000 patients. You will be strongly linked to clinical teams to develop opportunities for further development of Medicines Homecare Services, and manage existing services.
Your office base will be at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh but you will work across hospital sites in NHS Lothian to deliver the service.
The post offers an excellent personal development opportunity with both strategic and operational responsibility.
You should be a registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacy technician; have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrate leadership, innovation and project management skills.
